Search worked in partnership with the Tyneside Cinema to compile a collection of old film and video material of the west end of Newcastle. This chronicles the changes in industry, housing, shops and other aspects of local life through the 20 th century. Includes rare footage of the inside of Vickers engineering works in its heyday.
