| Swimming lessons for over 50s |
| Swimming lessons for beginners and improvers on Monday mornings at Elswick Pool are continuing. They will run at least until 10th December. If you're interested in joining this group, just go along to Elswick Pool on a Monday morning. They are free and take place between 10am and 11am. |

| There are now two classes - one on alternate Friday afternoons in Benwell Hall Drive community room and another on alternate Monday mornings in Fenham . Group members bring along their own flowers but other materials are provided free of charge. Both classes are open to new members. |
